Stay warm dancing around in this original Elsa dress

Just like another million other girls, for carnival my princess wants to dress up like… Elsa! The internet is filled with beautiful dresses but they all look quite chilly. It might even snow for real during Carnival this year. So how does Elsa keep herself warm?

Complicated sewing patterns, buzzing sewing machines… Although I would love to, the sewing machine is not my best friend (yet). So… all components of the Elsa dress needed to be easy, simple and fast. Play around with needle and thread is all I can do.

After doing some research on Pinterest I created my own and above all warm version of the famous Elsa dress. A fleece jacket dress with sparkle top, a long tutu skirt that fits layers of leggings underneath and a beautiful winter cape with hood. Who wants to cover up a wonderful Elsa dress underneath a winter coat?

The whole set costs under 50 euros and a couple of hours of cutting and sewing. Doesn’t cost a lot more than a dress bought at the store. And this one keeps you warm! Look at her… which girl doesn’t want to dance around in a swaying tutu skirt?!
