Healthy Santa cheese strings
It’s December… the only thing I can think of in December is candy, chocolate and lots of food. So why not serve a healthy snack for a change? Make these cute Santa cheese strings!
You need the following to make the healthy Santa cheese strings:
- Cheese strings
- White felt
- Red and black card stock
- White ‘snow balls’
- Red ribbon
- Black Sharpie
- Hole punch
- Glue gun
How to make: Santa cheese strings
Turn on the glue gun. Cut out the Santa hats, beards, strips for the hat (out of white felt), and cut the ribbon. Add a dot of glue to the top of the hat and press a little ‘snow ball’ onto the card stock. Add a strip of white felt and glue the hat on top of the cheese string. Then tie on the scarf and draw the eyes and a mouth with a Sharpie. Cut a V shape into the beard and adhere it to the cheese string using a dot of glue. Use a hole punch to punch out a red nose and two black buttons. Use a pair of small scissors to adhere the tiny rounds to the cheese string so you don’t burn your fingers.
Make sure the glue gun is not too hot otherwise you might risk melting the plastic!
